William and Charlotte Coleman

William Rideing "Bill" Coleman, 85, passed away on February 21, 2017. His ashes have been patiently awaiting those of his loving wife of 60 years, Charlotte Parsons Coleman, 84, who passed away on August 27, 2020.

They were members of Fountain Head Country Club, where they enjoyed playing golf. They also enjoyed traveling and family vacations to the beaches of North Carolina.

Cherishing their memory are their three daughters, Teri Coleman Fahrney (Gary), Sammy Coleman (with whom Charlotte lived with over the recent years), Debbie Coleman Hebb (Monty); and three grandsons, Scott Fahrney, Bob Hebb and Jim Hebb.

Bill and Charlotte's ashes will be joined together and a scattering service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.

Dear Coleman Family, Larry and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of your mom and dad. They were wonderful neighbors and friends. We always enjoyed their beautiful dogs and their beautiful flowers. They were kind, generous, caring people. We are happy that they are eternally together. Their house will always be the Colemans. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Joyce & Larry Kugler

Ann and I would like to express our deepest regrets with respect to the passing of Charlotte and, of course, with respect to the prior death of Bill. Both were beloved long time neighbors who brought enthusiasm and joy to the community. We enjoyed chatting with them over many years and we enjoyed laughing about the adventures of their wonderful pets!

Dear Teri, Sandy, & Debbie: I'm sending my heartfelt sympathy after reading of the passing of your Mom, Charlotte and belatedly the passing of your Dad, Bill. Seeing the wonderful picture of the two of them brought back so many memories! I thought of my Dad, Dick McNeal, the mechanic on the Fairchild company planes preparing the aircraft for your Dad, Bill the pilot to fly. I thought of my sister, Lindy babysitting all of you while your parents went to the restaurant (can't remember the name) near the Bay Bridge. I always thought that was so cool they travelled that far to go to dinner! I thought of high school days with Sandy and all the fun we had. It's been so many years but I still think back and smile. All of you are in my thoughts. Sincerely, Julie McNeal Reeder
