Thomas Lee Brown, 74, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2021.
Born Friday, February 15, 1946 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Robert Charles Brown and the late Virginia Rose (Chapman) Brown.
Thomas was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School in 1964. He was employed at Tri State Electrical Supply Company for 40 years. He was a member of Salem Reformed Church.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Catherine (King) Brown; one son, Michael Thomas Brown (Carlyn) of Falling Waters, WV; one daughter, Wendy Sue Atha (John) of Hagerstown, MD; two brothers, William R. Brown (Delores) of Boonsboro, MD and Robert C. Brown, Jr. of Great Falls, MT; grandchildren, Emma and Olivia Brown and Joshua and Stephanie Atha.
The Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, will open for family and friends Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
The family would like to thank Hospice for the great care they provided Thomas.
