Theresa Elizabeth "Terry" Riccardo 93, of 18507 Old Colony Lane, Hagerstown, MD peacefully entered into eternal life at her home on 12 April, 2022 after multiple chronic illnesses.

Born in Dickson City, PA on 20 October 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Standurski) Pietrewiez.

She attended St. Mary's Visitation Parochial School in Dickson City as a youth, under the direction of the Bernardine Nuns. She later was a graduate of Dickson City High School class of 1946.

Besides being a devoted wife and mother, she worked as a skilled seamstress at the Ross Garment Company, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD for 25 years prior to her retirement.

She is survived by two children, Leonard Joseph Riccardo of Hagerstown, MD; and Diane Watson and husband Jim of Fairfield, PA. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Jason Waddy, Ryan Waddy, Erin Burgee, and Jessica Watson Jenks. Ten great grandchildren who fondly knew her as "MAMA" , Jammon, Althea, Wrydon, Lilian, Ella, Henson, Sophia, Max, Radley and Oona Fae.

Her beloved husband of 65 years Leonard Carl Riccardo, three sisters Josephine Sniegocki, Elizabeth Maceiko and Regina Kotter, six brothers, Joseph Jr., Stanley, Francis, Edward, Chester and Leonard preceded her in death.

Theresa enjoyed her life to the fullest, traveling, shopping, going to casinos, playing bingo, and visiting family and friends. Her love for Polish and Italian traditional cooking and baking was enjoyed by everyone. She was a lifelong Catholic and loved the Catholic Church.

Our families would like to express our personal sincere thanks and gratitude to "Team Theresa"  Danielle, Gita, Phyllis, Eileen, Shelly, Harley, Dee, Tina W., Tina, Joey and Ben for their compassion and efforts in helping us keep our mother comfortable thru this challenging time. You guys are the Greatest!!

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County and Doey's House, 11370 Caring Pathways Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742. Donations can be made online or mailed.

The service and celebration of Theresa's life will held at a later date, yet to be determined.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
