Richard M. Crouse Jr., 83, of  Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Saturday, November 16, 2019, at  Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA.

Born Tuesday, June 23, 1936 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Richard M. Crouse Sr. and the late Meda M. (Malott) Crouse.

He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Richard was the owner of Meda's Tavern for 50 years. He was a member of Church of Christ at Hagerstown, where he served as a deacon and trustee. He was an avid bowler and sports fan.

He is survived by his wife Joyce E. Crouse; two daughters, Lori J. (Lindsey) Gudgeon of Boonsboro, MD and Sharon K. Kolich of Hagerstown, MD; brother, Ronald E. Crouse of  Mentor,OH; five grandchildren, Jeremy J. Gudgeon of Philadelphia, PA, Lynnsay J. Erskine of Dover, DE, Amy R. Kolich of Hagerstown, MD, Chad M. Kolich of Hagerstown, MD and Wesley L. Kolich of Hagerstown, MD; great grandchildren, Scott, Brieanna, Ryan, Jackson, Morgan, Lindsey, Damon and Joleana; brother-in-laws, Howard Faith and Gary Faith both of Hagerstown, MD.

Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at 11:00 am, at the Church of Christ at Hagerstown, 10014 Whitehall Road Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Mike Foster and Rev. David Martin officiating.

Interment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Church of Christ at Hagerstown, 10014 Whitehall Road, Hagerstown, MD, 21742.
