 Pamela Jo McIntyre, 56, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the University of Maryland Hospital.

Born Tuesday, August 27, 1963 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of  Elizabeth Victoria (Miller) Buckingham of Smithsburg, MD and the late Charles William Buckingham.

She graduated from Smithsburg High School in 1981. She received her Bachelor's degree from Hood College in 1995. Pam was employed with Hagerstown Community College. She enjoyed volunteering with the Army Reserves Family Readiness Program.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 24 years, Gerald McIntyre and son, Jacob William McIntyre.

Services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 10:00 am, at Bethel United Methodist Church Chewsville, 21006 Twin Springs Dr, Smithsburg, MD 21783, , with the Rev. Jim Johnson and Rev. John W. Schildt officiating.

Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Interment will be at the Smithsburg Cemetery, Smithsburg, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CASA Inc., 116 West Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
