Growing up we were as close as sisters being 3 months apart in age. My special name for Mary was "Muff" which I never stopped calling her even as we drifted in our own directions as adults. My love for her never waned and her passing has given me a heaviness in my heart but I know her soul has passed to a better place. Rest in peace my sweet Muff.

I am so sorry that I was out of town this week. Today , I started to catch up on the newspaper, and I learned, too late, that one of God's finest here on earth was buried today. My experience with her was at Western Heights.

I even hesitate writing anything because Mary knew how much I cared for her. She was my Sister in every sense of the word. I am going to miss our daily conversations and especially our laughs. You encouraged me all the time when I may have been struggling with life in general. You were always there for me and you would go out of your way if I every needed anything. I’m going to miss our daily talks about our children & grandchildren. I know God will see me through and it’s no doubt he’s been preparing me for this time as he called you home sooner than I wanted ,but I know your with our Savior. Please “Look for me for I will be there too”.Until then my heart will go on singing until then with joy I’ll carry on. I will miss you and treasure the wonderful memories we’ve shared over the last 40 plus years. Sis I know by faith I’ll shall see you again and how I long for that blessed day. Love Robin

Since I learned of Mrs. hoses passing, I have been trying like crazy to figure out how to Xpress my feelings about someone who meant so much to not only me but so many others. I have had the honor and privilege to know her for the majority of my life. Little did I know that when we met, she would quickly become a second mother to me. through all of the good times and bad, she was always there to offer encouragement, advice or to just listen no matter what. I offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to all of the friends, family and loved ones she has left behind. although she has been called home to be with the Lord, I know she will not be forgotten by the mini people whose lives she touched. I know she meant so much to so many people as a wife, mother and friend. She will always have a special place in my heart. I know that the Lord has a special place in heaven for people such as her. Mrs. hose, I love you and may you rest in peace until we see each other again.

Condolences and prayers to the family. I enjoyed working with Mary Hose and often our mail got confused as she was in the Vision Dept. and I was in the Hearing Dept. She was a hard worker and always had a smile on her face to all those that crossed her path. Her laughter was contagious. She was a go-to colleague and always helped to find what we needed to help our kids. May you be enjoying and seeing what you have believed in. May those who mourn be comforted but remember the memories of the lives that she has touched and made better.

I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to the family! I grew up in Maugansville a few doors down from the Hose family! Mary and her kids babysit my brothers and I when we were growing up! My parents are still neighbors and I would wave if she was out every time I drove by. Mary was a wonderful person and I have many great memories of her from my childhood. I know she will be missed by many!

One of the most sweetest caring woman I grew up with. You were like a grandma to me since the day I was born, and great grandma to Brielle. You will truly be missed. Prayers and love to my second family. Heaven gained a beautiful angel

If there is a kinder woman I’ve never met her. Mary was so giving to her students and would do anything to help them be productive and successful. She was very supportive and helpful to anyone who needed extra assistance. I watched her teach and nurture a young student who was blind. She learned braille and taught him how to learn braille and be independent despite his blindness. Her heart was huge and her smile sincere. I appreciated the beauty of Mary Hose. What an angel!!! ❤️

27 year old special needs son of Frank and Trudy Spielman does not understand that Miss Mary has went on to her reward but he loved her dearly and she the same to him. She made him feel special. Because of his condition he is house bound most of the time but every year she saved a trick or treat bag for him that we would drive him down when he could get out to receive it from her. Their to smiles of meeting each other when they could like this will never leave my memory she made sure he got a balloon for his birthday until her health and his health didn't allow them to see each other. The only thing that I can say for my son frankie is because of his condition he doesn't know she is gone. But when Frankie meets her in heaven thank God Frankie and Miss Mary will never know sickness again. Written for Frankie by his dad

One of the most loving and caring Christian woman that I have had the honor to know. She was a great blessing to me and my family. She always called on our birthdays to sing happy birthday to us She went out of her way forall the young people as she was the young peoples leader at the church since I stated going there in 1981. And at the age of 62 was still considered one of her young people and she never stopped ministering to me about my soul till the Lord took her. I will miss her badly until I meet her again in heaven I love and miss you already Miss Mary there was only one of you enjoy your heavenly reward
