Obituary

Joyce Ann Mason , 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Cadia Health Care of Hagerstown.

Born Sunday, November 15, 1936 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Laurence A. Fessler and the late Geneva (Finney) Fessler.  She was preceded also by her husband  Morris M. Mason.

Joyce attended Washington Township High School and was employed with Avalon Manor Nursing Home retiring in 1991. Joyce attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed watching old game shows and Polka music on TV, she also enjoyed listening to gospel music.

She is survived by her four daughters, Rose Knode and husband Harry of Hagerstown, MD, Linda Kline of Williamsport, MD, Peggy Burrill of Williamsport, MD, Tammy Cassner and husband Lewis of Hagerstown, MD; two sons, Danny L. Kline and wife Sandra of Clear Spring, MD and Jody L. Kline of Waynesboro, PA; four sisters, Sally Angle of Waynesboro, PA, Bonnie Bricker of Waynesboro, PA, Connie Fessler of Chambersburg, PA and Cindy Brindle of Chambersburg, PA; three brothers, Paul L. Fessler, Terry R. Fessler and Richard Eugene Fessler all of Waynesboro, PA; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren
She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Lori Ann Kline and Kathy J. Kline, son, Michael L. Kline, brothers, Robert L. Fessler and Gary L. Fessler.

Services will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:00 PM, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Ed Hampton officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
