May God grant your family peace in the loss of a very special Lady. I will always remember the large McCarty family picnics at Cowens Gap and gathering at Grandpa and Grandma McCarty's home in Clear Spring on Sunday evenings for crazy card games and the bantering on cards played. Your mom and I always played crazy jokes on each other and on Wilbur. Those were some very fun times.
I worked with Helen at Sears. So many laughs we shared. She was such a sweet person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

So sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She was my special friend when my Lions Club visited Homewood to play bingo. Helen and I played together for years. I was so sad that I couldn’t visit her when assisted living stopped allowing visitors. She was a lovely lady and I will miss her.
I got to know Helen while she and my mother, who passed away on June 11, were upstairs at the Heath Care Center at Homewood Of Williamsport. I had known her brother from years before. I thought she was a wonderful lady and was just like my mother in so many ways so they just naturally hit it off. Thanks Helen for looking after mom all those times you two set together out in the open area. Rest in peace dear. Andy Huffman
