Gwenith Elizabeth Barthlow, 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at her home.
Born Thursday, January 12, 1950 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry David Repp Jr. and the late Bernadine (Brown) Repp.
Gwen graduated from Clear Spring High School in 1968. She was a member of Salem Reformed Church and was employed with SS Kresge's and private duty nursing. Gwen loved her family and her animals. She also enjoyed the outdoors and her home and working in her flower gardens. She was kind hearted and was a friend to all that she met. Gwen read her bible faithfully everyday and loved Jesus.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Barthlow; brother, Raymond David Repp of Hagerstown; three sisters, Ruthann Palmer of Hagerstown, Darlene Marie Roderffer of Waynesboro and Vickie Mae Tegeler of Hagerstown; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her beloved dog, Oscar and her many feline friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Michael Repp, father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Ruby Barthlow.
Graveside services will be held privately with the family at the Rose Hill Cemetery, with the Pastor Eric Cox officiating.
Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, Thursday, June 11, 2020, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Due to Covid-19, the funeral home is only allowed 10 people at a time. Please be mindful of your time so that everyone can pay their respects.

So sorry to hear about your wife passing. I know you will miss her. I know how hard it is to loose someone you love. I lost my brother, Mike, in April. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. They will be in our prayers.
Joan and I are so sad to hear of Gwenith passing. We used to have some good times at the North American Rod and Gun Club. She was a good friend. She is now in God's hands. Rest in peace.
