Glenda Kay Ainsworth, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Born August 16, 1958 in Ranson, WV to the late, Robert L. Ainsworth "Snapper" & Phyllis K. (Hoffman) Ingram. She was also preceded in death by her Stepfather, David D. Ingram "Bobo".


Glenda is a 1977 graduate of Boonsboro High School. Over the years, she extended her talents into the work force in various places such as Meguesta Mills, Hartz America Inc, Sealy Mattress and 7-11 Convenience Store.


She found joy devoting the majority of her time to her special girl, Sammie “Boo”. Many nights you could find her cooking delicious meals in the kitchen for family and friends. Glenda loved to watch the Lifetime Channel and was an avid ice cold Pepsi drinker.


She is survived by 2 Sons, David R. Ainsworth, wife Jaclyn & Children; Walter Weaver III & Children & his girlfriend, Tiffany Marshall & Children.

Glenda is also survived by 5 siblings, Terry Hoffman & Wife; Jon Ainsworth; Rita Sword & Family; Robert "Tater" Ainsworth & Family; and Bobbie-Jo Ingram- DiStefano & Children. Lastly, a very special “honorary grandchild” Sammie Wargny is surviving.


She will be loved and sadly missed by family and friends.


Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2pm at the Douglas A Fiery Funeral Home on 1331 Eastern Blvd, Hag., MD 21742. Pastor Rodney K Rhodes will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to services.
