My condolences and deepest sympathy to the family. Ernie was one of my favorite bank customers and I always enjoyed seeing him and getting seafood at CHIC’s. He always had such a good sense of humor and I will always be known as Donna Short to him! RIP Ernie!

We are sorry for the loss of Ernie. He was a wonderful man who made a lot of friends. We will always remember him calling out to MooMoo when she would stop in to Chic's Seafood. We had her after funeral dinner at Chic's in memory of all the good times. Prayers for peace and comfort during your time of sorrow. Sincerely, The Puderbaugh family
He treated me as if I was a daughter to him and I am so very fortunate to have know him as well as been able to call him not only my boss but he was my beloved friend. Ernie believed in me and showed me that I was worthy of love. The earth was much better with you in it! Heartbroken by this loss and I think constantly that I could get just one more moment with him b/c I miss him and my thoughts and heart goes out to all of his family and friends! Ernest, charismatic, funny, & lovable is memorialized in the souls of each person lucky to have known him. Thank you Ernie for years of support and encouragement that certainly helped me achieve my BS degree. Love always, Tracey the almost 8 year veteran employee at chics. Loved and admired you back then and today my eyes are flooded with tears...ciao for now. Love doesn’t die and you’re forever in my heart❤️❤️❤️
I remember "Big Ernie" from when my best friend Tracey worked for him at Chic's years ago. He was always such a kind and jovial guy, and I know she looked up to him almost like another father. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man. Sending love and healing light in your time of sorrow.
