Bettie Jane (McBride) Carbaugh, 92, of Maugansville, MD, passed away, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Doey's House.

Born Saturday, January 18, 1930 in Springfield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Sylvester McBride and the late Margie Jane (Moyer) McBride.

Bettie was a seamstress, and loved watching westerns, game shows and NASCAR. She was a member of Salem Reformed Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane I. Fazenbaker, daughter, Gloria J.  Pine and husband Bruce, daughter, Linda S. O' Connor and husband Bob, son, Wilbur F. Carbaugh, Jr. and wife Sue, daughter, Barbara A. Merrbaugh and husband Jack, grandchildren, Leon, Jr., Jennifer, Sarah, Natasha, Crystal, Misty, Darrell, Andrea, Leslie, Robbie, Andrew, Adam, Kendra, and Troy, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great great grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbur F. Carbaugh, Sr., son, Dennis L. Carbaugh, son, Leon F. Carbaugh, and twin daughters, Catherine Ann Carbaugh and Mary Ann Carbaugh.

A graveside service will be held privately.

Interment will be at the Blairs Valley First Church of God Cemetery, Clear Spring, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Reformed Church 13182 Salem Church Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home.

My sincere condolences to the entire Carbaugh Family-My father worked with Wilbur during the Asplundh days and they remained very close friends throughout life.
