I was very lucky to work with Art for numerous years....He never failed to make me smile. Very well read....Genius Mind....I always remember attending the Annual Fundraiser for Frederick County Historical House / Library with Art. The Key note speaker that year was Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor....I remember the happiness on his face at the event and reflecting on the speech walking about to the office......Please accept my sincerest condolences. He was great person! The best!

Art was my close friend and my mentor. He had the best and most creative mind of any lawyer I ever worked with. Art taugh me more about the law than I could ever recount. He was a wonderful, thoughtful person who was liked and respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him. I owed him a debt I could never repay. I admired the manner in which he faced the challenges he encountered with courage and aplomb. Art was, in short, a model human being.
