It was with fond memories and deep sadness I read about your loss. When I worked with Bill I was just and Engineer and the Sr. Engineer I reported to did not like Bill and made Bill's job as difficult as possible. Bill never let that affect how he treated me and since I was new to the company he was far more of a mentor than my boss; and a far better engineer. Bill was always a gentlemen and a very fine person. I ran into him many years later; I believe it was at Ed Croft's home on Atlantic Ave. That was a great reunion. This notice is very sad; not many of those folks at Xerox I worked with are still with us. England turns out great Engineers and people. Hundred of years as the leading world power and WWII turns out great people who have been through a lot and have great values. The only TV I watch other than news and shows like NOVA are the PBS shows from the UK.
