Patricia Amanda Gladhill, 92, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Williamsport Retirement Village.
Born Saturday, October 30, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Meade and Thelma (Schultz) Meade.
She was formerly employed with the ARC of Washington County. Pat attended Hub City Vineyard Church. In her early years Pat enjoyed traveling and most recently enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four daughters, Patricia V. Benchoff of Hagerstown, MD, Susan H. Griffith of Williamsport, MD, Debra L. Pitsnogle of Hagerstown, MD and Janet R. Hoffman of Maugansville, MD;and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William M. Jacobs and a daughter, Eugenia M. Gladhill.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 12:00 PM, at Hub City Vineyard Church, Pryor Station:11000 Bower Avenue No.# 12 Hagerstown, MD, with Chris Schlotterbeck officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Private interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD

I didn't know Mrs. Gladhill personally, but was able to get glimpses of her through her daughter. She was a strong person. I would like to have known her personally. I pray for the family to have peace and comfort.
