Pamlam Suzanne Cushwa, 74, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away unexpectedly , Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at her home

Born, February 12, 1944 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Milton Zeger and the late Helen Louise (Barron) Zeger.

Pam graduated from North Hagerstown High School. She previously owned and operated an antique shop on Salem Avenue in Hagerstown. She enjoyed people stopping by to visit and shop. After closing her shop, Pam enjoyed spending time with her sisters and friends going to play bingo. Pam was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary Post 1936.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Jack D. Cushwa; two sons, Donald L. Cushwa and Jeffrey A. Cushwa both of Hagerstown, MD; granddaughter, Ashley M. Gardner of Martinsburg, WV; three brothers, Terry Zeger & wife Shirley, Richard Zeger & wife Shirley and James Zeger & wife Jennifer; two sisters, Judie Zeger Harper, Sue Zeger Weir & husband Donnie and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Zeger, Jay Zeger, John Zeger, Philip "Bub" Zeger, and a infant brother, Andrew Zeger, sisters, Shirley Zeger, Shannon Zeger Cunningham and Carolyn Zeger Brown.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 21, 2019, at 11:00 am, at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. David B. Kaplan officiating.

Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Pam, to the charity of your choice.
