Mary Virginia Rideout, 80, of  Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the Julia Manor Health Care Center.

Born Wednesday, October 12, 1938 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank Sylvester Keyes and the late Mary Virginia (Snively) Keyes. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Dale Rideout.

Mary graduated from North Street  School. She was employed with Landis Tool Company and Mack Trucks, Inc. Mary was a member of the Ebenezer AME Church and the B.P.O. Elks Sharon Temple 160.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kim M. Rideout, Tina L. Turner and Lisa A. Magruder all of Hagerstown, MD; four sons, Charles Dale Rideout, Jr. & wife Phyllis of Blythewood, SC, Michael Leroy Rideout & wife Joy of San Diego, CA, Derrick Lynn Rideout of Frederick, MD and Todd Vincent Rideout of Hagerstown, MD; brother, Russell Keyes & wife June of Hagerstown, MD; godchild, Andre Kidrick of Inwood, WV and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, May Elizabeth Smith and Gussie Ellen Keyes; brothers, Frank Melvin Keyes, Jr., Kenneth Keyes, Reginald Keyes and Vincent Keyes.

Services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:30 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Ricky A. Smith of Zion Baptist Church officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ebenezer AME Church, 40 West Bethel Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
