Mary Catherine Stouffer, 103, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at the Williamsport Retirement Village.
Born Sunday, June 25, 1916 in Penbrook, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clinton Wyrick and the late Carrie (Holtry) Wyrick. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur F. Stouffer.
Mary was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she volunteered with the Food Bank for 26 years, she also volunteered with the Board of Election Supervisors for many years and was a member of AARP.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris A. Leasure of Hagerstown, MD; son Stanley E. Stouffer of Hagerstown, MD; son-in-law, Dennis L. Kendle of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters, Betty Jane Wyrick of Shippensburg, PA, Virginia Mae Kelso of Centerville, PA and Thelma Lentvorsky of Boiling Springs, PA; seven grandchildren, Donald W. Leasure, Jr. of FL, Kristi L. Butts of Greencastle, PA, Kerri L. Wood of Hagerstown, MD, Dan S. Kendle of Alexandria, VA, Erin M. Keppel of Williamsport, MD, David Keppel of Ashburn, VA and David H. Stouffer of Hagerstown, MD; twelve great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy J. Kendle, sisters, Jeannette Beecher, Frances L. Goodhart and Hazel R. Wadel, brothers, Harry L. Wyrick, Richard M. Wyrick, Blaine A. Wyrick, John A. Wyrick, Woodrow W. Wyrick, and Wilbur C. Wyrick.
Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. G. Stanley Steele officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church 601 Washington Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Aunt Mary will be missed by every single Wyrick and offspring that ever attended the Wyrick Reunion! What a legacy to long life! God bless her and may she now rest in peace. Our condolences to Doris, Butch, Dennis and families.

Aunt Mary, We were so lucky to have you in our lives for so long. I loved telling friends that my aunt was 103. I will continue telling my friends that I had an aunt Mary who lived to be just days shy of her 104th birthday. You will be missed and until we meet again, we love you. Your nephew Denny.
