 Jovawn Quinton Burns, 18, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Born Wednesday, May 23, 2001 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Joseph Burns of Harlem, NY and Ltasha Grace Jackson of Hagerstown, MD.

He attended South Hagerstown High School. He was a gamer, loved being outdoors and biking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. He was soft spoken and always ready to help others.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Alijah Burns and brother, Josiah Burns; maternal grandparents, Sharon and Bryan Scott; paternal grandparents, Linda Burns and Joseph Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Monday, June 10, 2019, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with Elder Ronnie Hardy officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the service.

Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.

I remember when we were sitting on the couch at Mal Mal's and you pinched my side and I fell it was very funny at the time I didn't think that but looking back at all are memories even though I'm 12 you were always a great cousin.
