It all began at age 13 with a $1.98 Porter Chemistry gift handed to me by a lens fitter at John and Harold's company. That sparked an eventual college major in Chemistry and a following 38 years in science teaching. THANK YOU John, and Dad, for being the pivotal members in my choosing my life's vocation. I will always cherish fond memories of you and the GREAT Porter Chemical Company.
