I will always remember sitting in your windowsill playing with the plush cat & kittens as kid and watching you make homemade bread in the kitchen. As a kid I tried to talk with a English accent because I thought yours was so neat. I thought it was so cool that I had a Memaw from London. Family holiday dinners were always so nice too. I miss you. It saddens me I didnt get to experience a relationship with you as I grew up into a women, and a mother. I love you ❤ you will be missed by so many people. Rest easy in Paradise ❤

Some of the happiest memories of my childhood include going to Mema's house for holiday dinners. I loved seeing my family, I loved having us all together and I loved how much laughter we all shared. Mema you were an extraordinary woman, you will truly be missed. I love you. Look after us all, until we meet again and have Turducken together in heaven.

I love you so much Memaw. I think about you everyday. I talk about you to my kids and show them pictures all the time. I reached out to see you but was told it wasn't a good idea. We love you Memaw, I never stopped loving you. Even though you never got a chance to meet them. You saw a picture of Tucker and said he had Uncle Johnny's curly hair and looked like my brother Josh. It saddens me to see Paul's children are not mentioned in her obituary. Paul Carmichael Jr, Josh Carmichael, and Tiffany Carmichael, are Joan's grandchildren as well. I am one of Joan's Granddaughters, Tiffany, she also has a great-grandson Tucker, and great-granddaughter Jordynne. Joan's GRANDSON Josh has a daughter- Leah, and her Grandson Paul JR has a daughter, Rea'L. We love you. Rest In Paradise Memaw ❤
