Obituary

James Edward Wolfe, 64, of  Smithsburg, MD, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Born June 26, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of John Dorsey Wolfe of Smithsburg, MD and the late Evelyn Irene (Mayhue) Wolfe.

Jim graduated from Middletown High School in 1972. He was employed with Essroc, retiring after 35 years of service. After retirement he was employed with Macy's Logistics. Jim was a member of The Good Shepherd Ministries.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lee Ryan and husband Justin of Lusby, MD; two sons, Michael James Wolfe Sr. and wife Crystal of Hagerstown, MD and Steven Zachary Wolfe and wife Salina of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Thomas Wolfe and Bill Wolfe both of Smithsburg, MD; sister, Carolyn Mason of Rouzerville, PA; seven grandchildren, Mykenzy Wolfe, Michael "MJ" Wolfe, Jr., Malachi Wolfe, Mykayla Wolfe, Briley Ryan, Kaylin Ryan and Alina Ryan; daughter-in-law, Maria Elizabeth Meyers of Denver, CO.

He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Alexander Wolfe.

Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11:00 am, at The Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Road Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Steven S McCullough officiating.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.

Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
