Obituary

 Jacqueline Rae Finnin, 85, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Monday, January 21, 2019, at the Julia Manor Health Care Center.

Born Thursday, May 25, 1933 in Hagerstown, MD,  was the daughter of the late Teathian Blake and the late Mildred (Gish) Blake.

She graduated from Smithsburg High School in 1951.  She was a member of Bethel Chewsville United Methodist Church. Jacqueline and her sister, Betty managed Blake's Restaurant in Smithsburg for many years. She also enjoyed international traveling with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Walter Joseph Finnin; son, Gregory A. Mann (Sharon) of Hagerstown, MD; two daughters, Patricia C. Aikens (Charles) of Hagerstown, MD, and Debra K. Wagner (David) of Smithsburg, MD; step son, Jerry Finnin of FL three sisters, Joan Austin, Dollye Schroyer, and Millie Harbaugh; two brothers, Teathian Blake and Charles Blake; 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Kline, Margaret Paxton, and Joyce Carpenter; 2 step children, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson and 1 great-granddaughter.

Services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 12:00 noon, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel Chewsville United Methodist Church, 21006 Twin Springs Drive, Smithsburg, MD, 21783.
