Classy lady! Always enjoyed seeing her at the podium at church. What a great lady! May she be seeing, what she so believed in, with great JOY! She will be missed here in Hagerstown! Condolences and prayers for the entire family on your loss of a very dear family member.
Helen was in charge when it came to running St. Mary's cafeteria. I had some fond memories of working with her as a cafeteria volunteer & as the Rummage Sale kitchen cook. Helen always made sure we kept her kitchen in good order. She loved when there was extras left over from the Rummage Sale to give the students as a special treats. She cooked up a wonderful Thanksgiving meal that parents were invited to attend with their children & somehow I always wound up behind the scenes helping to cook & serve it. She knew exactly what she had in her walk-in & freezers too. I was amazed at how organized she was. She made sure we were doing it right on Rummage Day sales too because she was right there in the kitchen checking us & let us know when we were not doing it quite right. She wanted a spotless, clean kitchen when we were done. It was Helen's kitchen for sure. She was quite a lady.
To my dear friend Mary Joe....I share your grief. May your Moms memory be a blessing to all who knew here. There is no question that your Dad was waiting with open arms and they are celebrating their reunion while we are mourning.
Our deeps thoughts and condolences accompany you in your time sorrow. You are in our prayer. God Bless you and family
