Henry, Joyce and Charlie, My prayers are with your family. Dave was a very caring and generous man. I was proud to come to work everyday for a man who would go out of his way to always ask how me and my family was. He was such a one on one personable gentleman. God bless, Greg McCoy & Family

Dave has been a close and valued friend with Kibby and I for decades and we will always remember the times we spent with him. Even after we moved from Hagerstown a number of years ago, we stayed in touch regularly and would visit either when we were in Hagerstown or he was in Myrtle Beach. Dave was a man of strong Character and a generous Heart. I will always be indebted to Dave for the help and support he gave me when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. Dave, we will miss you. Kibby and I won’t say good-bye but so long until we meet again. Kibby and Jim Albright

It is with great sorrow that Janet and I extend our sincerest condolences to Kathy, Henry, Joyce and all of David's extended family. Dave has always been more like a brother to me than the cousin that he was. I am very saddened by his passing. We were very close and best friends ever since childhood more than 70 years ago and we enjoyed many good times together. He was a great guy and he will be fondly remembered and grievously missed. I know he endured some health problems over the past few years. Now, may he rest in peace.

Dave was one of my favorite cousins. Possibly because he and my brother, Don Ridgely, were practically inseparable as kids as well as adults. Although he was considerably older than me, I always enjoyed his company, especially our dinners at The Farmer's Daughter in Frederick.. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his service. God Bless his family in this time of sorrow.

My heart goes out David's family. He was such a great guy, and a real inspiration. Although in recent years we didn't get to visit on a regular basis, when we did connect, it was as if we had not lost any time. That's just the way it was with David, his warm and friendly nature was always so comfortable. It was always such a treat to get to visit with him. I'm going to miss this dear soul.
