Obituary

Franklin D. Russ Jr., 62, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Friday, June 12, 2020, at his home.

Born Tuesday, May 13, 1958 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Hilda (Jefferson) Russ of Hagerstown, MD and the late Franklin D. Russ Sr. 

Manny was the "unofficial" neighborhood watch. He was an avid Ravens fan and enjoyed riding his bike.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his son, Franklin Delano Russ, III; siblings Rudolph T. Russ, II (Edwina),  Marcella Y. Russ-Gayle (Robert), and Donald T. Russ; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, Thursday, June 18, 2020, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Graveside services will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD, with minister Frances M. Lockley officiating.
