My condolences to you and your family. May you find peace and comfort.
So very sorry on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you. Loved visiting with Genia and loved hearing her funny stories about her girls when they were younger. Especially about the egg salad sandwiches. She told me that story several times, we always laughed. She was such a sweet dear Lady. She will be dearly missed. May God comfort you all. She's in heaven smiling down on all of you. Love and comfort to you, Homer & Chris Downie

I worked with Gena at Smithsburg Elementary. My condolences to the family at this difficult time.
Mrs. Grove was my 3rd grade teacher at Smithsburg Elementary School in the early 90’s. She was one of the kindest people I met! She was a special teacher to me and I have fond memories of her as a child. A few years ago she was substituting in the school I teach at and I was so happy to see her; she knew EXACTLY who was by name too. I was so happy to be able to share with her the impact she had on my life. It was because of her class that I kept striving to do my best throughout my schooling. My prayers are with the Grove family during this difficult time. I just wanted to send my condolences and share how much Mrs. Grove impacted me as a student and beyond.

Eugenia and I met in the fall of 1964 when we were assigned to be roommates at Freed Hardeman University. We roomed together for the next 3 1/2 years. Eugenia was a very special lady and I treasure my memories of our college years. Eugenia was known as a sweet, quiet girl which she was - most of the time! Genia had a great sense of humor and loved to play pranks in the dorm. My heart goes out to Guy and their daughters. May God bless you family.

Eugenia was a quiet but friendly lady with whom I had the opportunity to join for a group lunch on several occasions. Even while progressively experiencing poor health, she seemed to enjoy being with our group from Hagerstown Community College. I will miss being with her but know she is in a better place. With thoughts and prayers to Guy and family, Bev Yeagle
My deepest sympathy brother I know how difficult it is right now but your family, friends and the Lord are here for you. I know your daughters and their families are hurting also and I’m praying for all of you.
