Dwight Lindsay Daudet, 70, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away, Friday, June 12, 2020, peacefully at Doey's House Surrounded by his loving family, After a brief battle with Lung Cancer.
Born Tuesday, January 3, 1950 in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late Omer Daudet and the late Erna (Mayer) Daudet. Dwight worked for J&L Steel for 11 years, Hekimian Laboratories for 19 years. He retired from Stultz two years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Denise (D’Antonio)Daudet; Two children,Son Dennis (Beth) Daudet, of Bethel Park, PA. Daughter Valerie (Tim) Russell Of Oakdale, Pa. and 5 grandchildren Madison, Jean-Paul, Maggie, Travis & Delainie. Also Survived by Brother Leslie (Lynn) Daudet, and many wonderful Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and close friends.
Dwight was a great man with a kind & gentle heart who enjoyed crosswords puzzles , computer games & TV. His 5 Grandchildren were the light of his life & they will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Omer & Erna Daudet, and sister Renate (Renee) “Daudet “ A Speical Thank you to nephew Danny Bove ( Kathy) and family for always being there no matter what. Countless neighbors & family friends for their unwavering support, Hospice Doey’s House for their caring support and Dr. Reshma Khetpal for her unwavering determination.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
