I believe I only met Cora once at a Christmas Staff and Family gathering years ago. But her essence and light of the Holy Spirit within her was so evident and she made me feel wanted, important, and noticed. The warmth of her being showered me with love. Imagine just one meeting! I've enjoyed reading others' comments as now I have even higher regard for this gifted, vibrant, joyous wife and mother who has left this earth. I can only imagine what an asset she is now in heaven. Still, we all grieve at her loss here on earth especially her dear family. I know it has to be extremely difficult to let go but her glow will never leave you. I extend my heartfelt condolences and pray for your courage, strength, peace, and comfort at a time like this.

To my beautiful friend, Cora, you were an angel on earth and now an angel in Heaven. We enjoyed playing tennis and taking tennis clinics together for so many years. We also enjoyed lunch, dinner, and shopping outings with our tennis friends. Condolences and my sympathy go out to your husband, Dan, your daughters, Danielle and Katie and your granddaughter, Ava. I feel joy that you were in my life and will always remember Cora and one of her favorite words was "sugar". Love to you, Myrna

The obituary written captures the true essence of Cora. She will be missed ! I was fortunate enough to have met Cora at water babies class when our girls were little. I enjoyed spending those hours with her chatting about our families and motherhood. We reconnected when Katie and our Ashley played club volleyball together and we traveled to Utah for the nationals tournament . We played many years of competitive tennis together and ladies contract tennis. She truly lived her faith. She was an example of kindness and love. Her family is a testimony of who she was. We love you Cora. We are better people because of what you showed us by staying true to your faith. Hugs to you !

Dr. Franklin and Family, Thinking and praying for you and your family at this difficult time. Death takes many things from us, but it cannot touch the precious memories we treasure. May those memories place a smile on your faces during the darkest hours of grief. Sharon Eby You provided excellent care for my 2 doxies- Sasha and Roxie.
We used to attend the Church of Christ at White Hall Road back in 2003, so we were shocked to read this morning of the early passing of beautiful and kind Cora Soriano Franklin. Our prayers and thoughts are with her dear family: Dr. Dan Franklin and daughters Danielle (we remember her in the choir!) and husband; Katie & Caleb and little Ava. May THE LORD grant comfort & peace to each one of you at this difficult time of saying good-bye.

Cora has been a dedicated Christian woman and my friend for many years. After the birth of their 2 girls, my late husband and I became their God parents, the girls joined us on our honeymoon! She and her family learned how to play tennis with us and how to ski and we had a ball. I know she is in the wonderful presence of our Lord and I am looking forward to meeting her in Heaven.
