She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren: Olivia Jones, Garrett and Adalynn Burger, Jaxon and Alyssa Stewart, T.J. and Sydney Worthington, Maximus Bernardo and soon to arrive Mackenzie Weitz and Baby Worthington.
Her close surviving family also consists of: two sisters, Carolyn Shockey and husband Gene and Lela Mae Hendershot and husband Perry, brother-in-law Bruce Hoffman, sisters-in-law Esther Snook, Mary “Dolly” Snook and Helen Doub, numerous nieces, nephews, and special loved ones, Janie Alley and husband Terry.
Anna enjoyed many things in life but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than words could express. She also received great joy in preparing meals for her family and friends every holiday and special occasion.
She was the co-owner and operator with her husband of J.R. Rentals for nearly forty years in Hagerstown, MD.

I met Anna while I was working at Ernst Market. I later learned that I also knew her daughter Linda through our daughters. She always had a smile on her face and was a lovely person. May God bless and comfort your whole family. God bless you, John and Robin Irvin

Anna was one of the first church ladies I met as a very young girl because her son Jeff and I were close in age. She remained a friend and confidant throughout the years. What a testimony she has shown for her commitment to her family and to her Savior! I always sat hehind her in church and I will miss her telling me, " I love you sister" as she planted a kiss on my cheek. Until we meet again Sister Anna.
Anna was a wonderful example of a Christian servant! She played our church organ from the age of 14. Through her 70's, even though her eyesight was failing and she needed assistance to and from the organ, she continued to play the beloved "old hymns" before the morning service. She said she wanted to play until she died, or Jesus returned, whichever came first. Heaven is blessed to have Anna there, but we will remember her as an "angel" who blessed us! I only knew Anna for two years, but I will always remember her smiles, her hugs, and her telling me, "I love you." Anna's love for Jesus gave her a truly loving heart for everyone! My deepest sympathies for her family and closest friends, especially for my dear friends, Justin, Julie, Jackson and Alyssa Stewart. Justin, please call me so we can stay in touch: 301-790-3028. I would be happy to play the piano before and during Anna's funeral on Wednesday if you have not made other plans for music. At 74 myself, Anna and I both knew the "old hymns" by heart. Love to all of you, Sue Ellen

Mi-maw, you will be dearly missed. Your passing has brought great sorrow to the many friends and family that so loved you, but I am so happy for you that you are now at peace with eternal joy and happiness in the arms of our Savior Christ. Thank you for being such a positive, and beautiful person in our lives. To her family that she left behind, know this parting is only temporary. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Much Love, and Deepest Condolences, Mikaela Shelton

Anna and I were classmates together at a very young age at Sunday School when the church was known as Broadfording Church of the Brethren, and we were close friends over the last 19 years. She certainly loved the Lord, and she will be missed.
