Dorris Elleene Webber Proctor, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Meritus Medical Center.

Born Thursday, June 30, 1927 in Knoxville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Estley Leo Webber and the late Emma Lovetta Cooper Webber.

She attended Brunswick High School. She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church, the Elks Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James E. Proctor; daughters, Holly Tosadori and husband, Anthony of Smithsburg, MD and Karen Williamson and husband, Terry of Hagerstown, MD; sister, Adelaide Bower; brother, Curtis Webber; grandchildren, Jay Hunt, Evan Hunt, Sean Hunt, Amanda Williamson, and Forrest Williamson; 3 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Snoots and brother, Irvin Cooper.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 11:00 am, from the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. Hagerstown, MD 21742, with Pastor Mark Snyder officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Interment will follow at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Beginnings Community Church, 10215 Auto Place Rd. Hagerstown, MD 21740.
